Gabby B attempts to play the game “Don’t Forget the Lyrics” with her best friend. There were about 15 songs that were played for a few seconds at a time, and Gabby had to then continue the lyrics when the music stopped. Gabby B knew all of the songs, but had a bit of trouble with the exact lyrics. She says, “When I was little, I used to listen to these songs, I couldn’t understand [anything], because I was tiny and I didn’t speak English.”

Gabby Lyrics Cover

Miley Cyrus - "Party In The U.S.A."

With this hit, Gabby starts off strong, but quickly collapses after reaching “and the butterflies fly away.” She even added some extra, never before heard lyrics: “Rubbing my hands like yeah.” She still believed she was very close and preached that she used to listen to that song all the time.
That’s when the D.J. dropped my favorite tune
And a Britney song was on
And a Britney song was on
And a Britney song was on
So I put my hands up
They’re playing my song,
And the butterflies fly away
Noddin’ my head like, yeah

Chris Brown - "Kiss Kiss"

Gabby didn’t last too long on this throwback, as she flopped pretty hard at the chorus. “Kiss Kiss Kiss Kiss, my uh my uh say em on me.” Looking back at it now, Gabby realizes how much more sense the actual lyrics make and said “That song still goes hard!”
I got the remedy you feeling me
So why is you hating?
And my anatomy is bird like
Yeah you heard right
Girl I’m the king so that means I’m fly
If you wit it girl
Get it poppin’
Roll wit me
Ain’t no stopping
So get it shawty
We parking lot pimping in my donk
I know want you want
She want that lovey-dovey
That kiss-kiss, kiss-kiss
In her mind she fantasize
‘Bout getting wit me
They hating on me

Sean Kingston - "Beautiful Girls"

“I know the song but I don’t know the lyrics,” says Gabby . Even without full knowledge of the lyrics, she made a valiant effort to continue on. She does claim that if it was the chorus, she would have had it in the bag.
Oh when I went away
For doing my first crime
And I never thought
That we was gonna see each other (see each other)
And then I came out
Mami moved me down South
Oh I’m with my girl
Who I thought was my world
It came out to be
That she wasn’t the girl for me (girl for me)
See it’s very divine, girl
You’re one of a kind
But you mush up my mind
You ought to get declined
Oh Lord
My baby is driving me crazy

Jay Sean - "Down"

Once again, Gabby was not satisfied with the time selection of the song. “Why did you pick this part?!” she says followed by a loud squeak. There was not a real attempt with this one, just some hitting and talking about how nobody knows the first verse.
Baby are you down down down down down, down, down
Even if the sky is falling down down down
Just let it be,
come on and bring your body next to me
I’ll take you away, hey, turn this place into our private getaway
So leave it behind cause we have a night to get away

Shakira - "Hips Don't Lie"

Bringing out her inner Shakira, Gabby gives her best shot at the song. Swaying smoothly along, it seemed like she could get this one right, until she was derailed by “..reading the signs of my body.”
¿Cómo se llama? (Sí), bonita (sí)
Mi casa, su casa (Shakira, Shakira)
Oh, baby, when you talk like that You make a woman go mad
So be wise (sí) and keep on (sí)
Reading the signs of my body (uno, dos, tres, cuatro)

Iyaz - "Replay"

You could see it in Gabby’s face as soon as this one begins, she is not going to have a shot. After her attempt with singing words that don’t make any sense, it is quickly time to move onto the next song. “I know the Song! I just don’t know the lyrics,” says Gabby.
Shawty’s like a melody in my head
That I can’t keep out
Got me singin’ like
Na na na na everyday
It’s like my iPod’s stuck on replay
Replay
Remember the first time we met
You was at the mall wit yo friend
I was scared to approach ya
But then you came closer
Hopin’ you would give me a chance
Who would have ever knew
That we would ever be more than friends

Katy Perry - "I Kissed A Girl"

Jumping on this one as soon as she can, Gabby continues singing the song as if it were one of her own. It is no surprise that Gabby finally gets one completely correct and celebrates with cheering “YAY, 2 points!”
I liked it
No, I don’t even know your name It doesn’t matter
You’re my experimental game
Just human nature

Jason Mraz - "I'm Yours'

Gabby starts by bobbing along to the song, she appears to start concentrating as she guesses “I’m sure there’s no need to concentrate, our time is sure, it cannot wait, I’m yours” – Gabby’s version
“I’m sure there’s no need to complicate, our time is short, this is our fate, I’m Yours” – Actual lyrics
…Close enough
So I won’t hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait I’m sure
There’s no need to complicate
Our time is short
This is our fate, I’m yours

Rihanna - "Umbrella"

“You can stay under my umbrella, ella, ella” was the only part of this snippet that Gabby could recite correctly. She claims that the struggle stems from growing up knowing the songs before she had learned English.
So gon’ and let the rain pour
I’ll be all you need and more Because
When the sun shine, we shine together
Told you I’ll be here forever
Said I’ll always be your friend

Neyo - "So Sick"

We can once again see agony painted on Gabby’s face as she continually questions her friend: “This an easy one?” As her answer, she repeats the exact line that had just been sung right before the music stopped.
so sad and slow
So why can’t I turn off the radio?
Gotta fix that calender I have, that’s marked July 15th
Because since there’s no more you, there’s no more anniversary
I’m so fed up with my thoughts of you, and your memory
And how every song reminds me of what used to be, that’s the reason
I’m so sick of love songs
So done with wishin’, you were still here
Said I’m so sick of love songs, so sad and slow
So why can’t I turn off the radio?

Kelly Clarkson - "Since U Been Gone"

Doubting her ability to perform in this challenge, Gabby says that “I feel like you’re disappointed in me.
“We’re going to give Gabby an “A” for this one. She passed the test with only a minor mistake. We can see her spirits have been brought back up as she jumps and cheers. It’s party time!!
And all you’d ever hear me say
Is how I pictured me with you
That’s all you’d ever hear me say
But since you been gone
I can breathe for the first time
I’m so movin’ on, yeah, yeah
Thanks to you
Now I get what I want
Since you been gone

Journey - "Don't Stop Believing"

Everybody knows the lyrics to this classic, right?
… Wrong
Though Gabby claims she knows the chorus and just not this part, you’re going to have to take a look at this one for yourself to see what happens:
Their shadows searchin’ in the night
Streetlight people
Livin’ just to find emotion
Hidin’ somewhere in the night
Workin’ hard to get my fill
Everybody wants a thrill
Payin’ anything to roll the dice just one more time
Some will win
some will lose
Some are born to sing the blues
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on

Jordin Sparks - "No Air'

This was a tough one as Gabby sings “Cant..(long pause)… with no air.” At this point, Gabby starts blaming the DJ for her poor performance, stating that “you’re picking songs I never tried singing before.”
‘Cause my world revolves around you
It’s so hard for me to breathe
Tell me how I’m supposed to breathe with no air?
Can’t live, can’t breathe with no air
That’s how I feel whenever you ain’t there
There’s no air, no air

Flo Rida - "Low"

All the cool vibes and swagger that this song once brought, Gabby sucked that right out of this song. Gabby is clearly feeling good about this song and she may have gotten this one correct with only a minor mistake, but she is definitely not a rapper.
Make it rain, I’m makin’ it snow
Work the pole, I got the bank roll
I’mma say that I prefer them no clothes
I’m into that, I love women exposed
She threw it back at me, I gave her more
Cash ain’t a problem, I know where it goes
Shawty had them Apple Bottom Jeans (jeans)
Boots with the fur (with the fur)
The whole club was lookin’ at her
She hit the floor (she hit the floor)
Next thing you know
Shawty got low low low low low low low low

Hannah Montana - "If We Were A Movie"

After this whole ordeal, the DJ felt it was necessary to give Gabby a break on the upcoming song, so he throws her one that she has to know.
We quickly see that Gabby knows this song by heart, “I’ve been a Hannah Montana fan my whole childhood.”
Uh oh, there you go again, talkin’ cinematic
Yeah, you
You’re charming, got everybody star struck
I know how you always seem to go For the obvious
Instead of me
But get a ticket and you’ll see
If we were a movie
You’d be the right guy
And I’d be the best friend
That you’d fall in love with in the end
We’d be laughing
Watching the sunset
Fade to black

Eminem - "Godzilla"

This song wasn’t planned at all, but since Gabby kept saying how hard everything was, the DJ wanted her to realize what a actually hard song sounded like. Obviously, she had no chance with this one. It was a mess, but watching her effort is pretty entertaining.
Like a paraplegic, and it’s scary, call it Harry Caray ‘Cause every Tom and Dick and Harry carry a Merriam m*********in’ dictionary Got ’em swearing up and down, they can’t spit, this s***’s hilarious It’s time to put these b****es in the obituary column We wouldn’t see eye to eye with a staring problem Get the shaft like a steering column (monster) Trigger happy, pack heat, but it’s black ink Evil half of the Bad Meets Evil That means take a back seat Take it back to Fat Petes with a maxi, single
Look at my rap sheet, what attracts these people Is my gangster, b****, like Apache with a catchy jingle I stack chips, you barely got a half-eaten Cheeto Fill ’em with the venom and eliminate ’em Other words, I Minute Maid ’em
